Bedstraw is a plant that you can find along the hiking trail. It used to be stuffed in mattresses to provide a comfortable sleeping area. It has also been used to treat swollen ankles and some forms of cancer. It can make people sweat.

 

There are different type of bedstraw like yellow bedstraw. Bedstraw grows in the wild and it grows in whorls that grow in four to eight bunches at each joint on the stem. You will find this plant at Caesar Creek on the trial so be looking for it when you go.

 

This plant is not endanger, and you can find them anywhere in America. Bedstraw is a troublesome agricultural weed as well as weed problem in landscapes and home gardens. The weed also impacts animal agriculture, as its seed or vegetative material can contaminate and reduce the value of wool or fur.
