The visitor center at Caesar Creek was built in 1981, and is a class A center.  A class A center means that the center is very large and is the only visitor center in the area.  This center is among one of the eight centers operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is a government organization for the protection of the U.S. wildlife.

At the center they have different activities and programs such as, boy scouts, fishing, boating, hiking, and fossil hunting.  Next to the center is a fishing pond.  Many fish live in this pond such as small mountain bass, catfish, and blue gill.
